What it does

  1. Schedules Execution: Triggers daily to fetch the latest news.
  2. Fetches RSS Feeds: Reads articles from a specified RSS feed (presumably cybersecurity-related).
  3. Processes Articles in Batches: Iterates through each article to process them individually.
  4. Filters Articles: Checks if an article's title is not empty before proceeding.
  5. Summarizes with AI: Uses an AI Agent (powered by Groq via OpenRouter) to generate a concise summary of each article. It leverages a simple memory buffer for conversational context.
  6. Formats Output: Prepares the summarized article content for Telegram, including the title, summary, and original link.
  7. Posts to Telegram: Sends the formatted summary as a message to a designated Telegram chat or channel.
  8. Manages Rate Limits: Includes a wait step to prevent overwhelming the Telegram API with too many messages at once.

Prerequisites/Requirements

Setup/Usage

  1. Import the Workflow:

    • Download the provided JSON file.
    • In your n8n instance, click "Workflows" in the left sidebar.
    • Click "New" and then "Import from JSON".
    • Paste the workflow JSON or upload the file.
  2. Configure Credentials:

    • Telegram:
      • Locate the "Telegram" node (ID: 49).
      • Click on "Credential" and select "Create New".
      • Choose "Telegram API" and enter your Telegram Bot Token.
      • In the "Chat ID" field, enter the ID of your Telegram channel or group.
    • OpenRouter:
      • Locate the "OpenRouter Chat Model" node (ID: 1281).
      • Click on "Credential" and select "Create New".
      • Choose "OpenRouter API" and enter your OpenRouter API Key.
  3. Configure RSS Feed:

    • Locate the "RSS Read" node (ID: 37).
    • In the "URL" field, enter the RSS feed URL for your desired cybersecurity news source.
  4. Configure AI Agent (Optional):

    • The "AI Agent" node (ID: 1119) is configured to use the "OpenRouter Chat Model". You can adjust the prompt or model settings if needed.
  5. Activate the Workflow:

    • Once all credentials and configurations are set, click the "Activate" toggle in the top right corner of the workflow editor.
