What it does
This workflow performs the following key steps:
- Triggers on Schedule: The workflow is initiated on a predefined schedule (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure regular report generation.
- Fetches Meta Ads Campaign Data: It connects to the Facebook Graph API to retrieve campaign performance data for a specified date range.
- Processes Campaign Data: The retrieved data is processed and formatted, likely to extract relevant metrics and prepare it for reporting.
- Generates Report Content: It aggregates the processed data, potentially creating a summary or detailed report.
- Conditions for Report Delivery: It uses conditional logic to determine the delivery method (WhatsApp or Email) based on predefined criteria.
- Sends Report via WhatsApp (Conditional): If the condition for WhatsApp delivery is met, it sends the report through a WhatsApp integration (likely via an HTTP Request to a WhatsApp API).
- Sends Report via Email (Conditional): If the condition for email delivery is met, it sends the report via Gmail.
- Logs Activity (No Operation): A "No Operation" node is present, which might be used for debugging or as a placeholder for future logging steps.
- Stores Data in Google Sheets: The processed campaign data is written to a Google Sheet, providing a historical record and a centralized data source.
Prerequisites/Requirements
To use this workflow, you will need:
- n8n Instance: A running instance of n8n.
- Facebook Graph API Credentials: An access token and necessary permissions for your Meta Ads account to retrieve campaign data.
- Gmail Account: A configured Gmail credential in n8n for sending email reports.

- If/Switch Nodes: Customize the conditions for sending reports via WhatsApp or Email based on your business logic (e.g., send to WhatsApp if campaign spend is above X, otherwise email).
- HTTP Request (for WhatsApp): Update the URL, headers, and body to match your WhatsApp API provider's requirements.
- Gmail: Configure the recipient email addresses, subject, and body for the email report.
- Google Sheets: Specify the Spreadsheet ID, Sheet Name, and the data to be written.
