What it does

This workflow automates the following steps:

  1. Listens for Website Submissions: It starts by waiting for a website URL to be submitted via an n8n form.
  2. Prepares Input for AI: The submitted URL is then processed by a Code node to format it as a user message for the AI agent.
  3. Initiates AI Security Scan: An AI Agent node (powered by LangChain and an OpenAI Chat Model) takes the website URL and performs a security audit. This agent is configured to act as a "Website Security Auditor" and uses an HTTP Request tool to interact with the provided website.
  4. Generates and Aggregates Report: The AI agent's output, which includes the security findings, is then aggregated.
  5. Sends Email Report: Finally, a detailed security audit report, generated by the AI, is sent to a specified email address using Gmail.

Prerequisites/Requirements

  • n8n Instance: A running instance of n8n.
  • OpenAI API Key: An API key for OpenAI to power the AI Chat Model. This needs to be configured as an n8n credential.
  • Gmail Account: A Gmail account configured as an n8n credential to send the audit reports.

Setup/Usage

  1. Import the Workflow:
    • Download the provided JSON file.
    • In your n8n instance, click on "Workflows" in the left sidebar.

  2. Configure Credentials:
    • OpenAI Chat Model: Locate the "OpenAI Chat Model" node (ID: 1153). Ensure your OpenAI API key is configured as a credential and selected in this node.
    • Gmail: Locate the "Gmail" node (ID: 356). Configure your Gmail account as a credential and select it. You will also need to specify the recipient email address in this node.
  3. Activate the Workflow: Toggle the workflow to "Active" in the top right corner of the workflow editor.
  4. Access the Form: Once active, the "n8n Form Trigger" node (ID: 1225) will provide a unique URL. Share this URL with users who will submit website URLs for auditing.
