Google Play Store App Rank and Rating Monitoring

What and who this is for

This workflow will be useful for anyone looking to do SEO tracking on the Google Play Store. It automates checking Google Play Store rank positions and average ratings for a list of app titles.

The SerpApi component can also be modified to use other APIs for anyone looking for SEO tracking on any other search engine supported by SerpApi.

How it works

This workflow takes in a list of keywords and app titles to identify the apps' rank in Google Play Store search results. It also grabs the average rating of the app. The search uses SerpApi's Google Play Store API.

The results are then synced to two different sheets in a Google Sheet. The first is a log of all past run. The latest results are appended to the bottom of the log. The second updates a kind of "dashboard" to show the results from the latest run.

The workflow includes a Wait node that delays 4 seconds between each app title and keyword pair to prevent hitting the default Google Sheets' API per minute rate limit. You can delete this if you have a high enough custom rate limit on the Google Sheets API.

The Schedule Trigger is configured to run at 10 AM UTC every day.

How to use

  1. Create a free SerpApi account here: https://serpapi.com/
  2. Add SerpApi credentials to n8n. Your SerpApi API key is here: https://serpapi.com/manage-api-key
  3. Connect your Google Sheets accounts to n8n. Help available here: https://n8n.io/integrations/google-sheets/
  4. Copy this Google Sheet to your own Google account: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DiP6Zhe17tEblzKevtbPqIygH3dpPCW-NAprxup0VqA/edit?gid=1750873622#gid=1750873622
  5. Set your own list of keywords and app titles to match in the 'Latest Run' sheet. This is the source list used to run the searches and must be set.
  6. Connect your Google Sheet in the 'Get Keywords and Titles to Match' Google Sheet node
  7. Connect your Google Sheet in the 'Update Rank & Rating Log' Google Sheet node
  8. Connect your Google Sheet again in the 'Update Latest Run' Google Sheet node
  9. (Optional) Update the schedule or disable the schedule to only run manually

SerpApi Google Play Store API SerpApi n8n Node Intro Guide

n8n Workflow: Google Play Store App Rank & Rating Monitor (Incomplete)

This n8n workflow is designed to periodically monitor app ranks and ratings from the Google Play Store, though it is currently incomplete. The provided JSON defines the initial structure for fetching data and processing it, but lacks the specific nodes for interacting with the Google Play Store API or a SERP API, as suggested by the directory name.

What it does (based on current JSON):

  1. Triggers on a Schedule: The workflow is set to run at regular intervals, allowing for automated, periodic checks.
  2. Reads from Google Sheets: It is configured to read data from a Google Sheet, likely containing a list of apps to monitor or configuration parameters.
  3. Loops Over Items: The workflow includes a loop mechanism to process multiple items (e.g., multiple app entries) from the Google Sheet in batches.
  4. Waits Between Batches: A Wait node is included to introduce a delay between processing batches, which can be useful for respecting API rate limits or pacing the workflow execution.
  5. Executes Custom Code: A Code node is present, indicating that custom JavaScript logic will be executed at some point in the workflow. This could be for data transformation, conditional logic, or preparing data for subsequent API calls.
  6. Includes Sticky Notes: There are sticky notes for documentation or temporary comments within the workflow.

Prerequisites/Requirements:

  • n8n Instance: A running instance of n8n.
  • Google Sheets Account: Access to a Google Sheets document, and appropriate n8n credentials configured for Google Sheets.
  • SERP API / Google Play Store API (Implied but missing): While not explicitly present in the JSON, the workflow's name suggests the need for credentials and access to a SERP API (like SerpApi) and/or direct Google Play Store APIs to fetch app data. These nodes would need to be added to complete the workflow's intended functionality.

Setup/Usage:

  1. Import the workflow: Import the provided JSON into your n8n instance.
  2. Configure Google Sheets Credentials: Set up your Google Sheets credentials within n8n if you haven't already.
  3. Configure Google Sheets Node: Update the "Google Sheets" node (ID: 18) to specify the spreadsheet ID and sheet name from which you want to read data.
  4. Configure Schedule Trigger: Adjust the "Schedule Trigger" node (ID: 839) to your desired monitoring frequency (e.g., daily, hourly).
  5. Complete the Workflow:
    • Add nodes for interacting with the Google Play Store API or a SERP API (e.g., "HTTP Request" node, or a dedicated SerpApi node if available) to fetch app rank and rating data.
    • Integrate the output of these API calls with the existing Loop Over Items and Code nodes for processing.
    • Add nodes to write the monitored data back to Google Sheets, a database, or send notifications (e.g., Slack, Email) as needed.
  6. Activate the workflow: Once configured and completed, activate the workflow to start monitoring.

Two-way property repair management system with Google Sheets & Drive

This workflow automates the repair request process between tenants and building managers, keeping all updates organized in a single spreadsheet. It is composed of two coordinated workflows, as two separate triggers are required — one for new repair submissions and another for repair updates. A Unique Unit ID that corresponds to individual units is attributed to each request, and timestamps are used to coordinate repair updates with specific requests. General use cases include: Property managers who manage multiple buildings or units. Building owners looking to centralize tenant repair communication. Automation builders who want to learn multi-trigger workflow design in n8n. --- ⚙️ How It Works Workflow 1 – New Repair Requests Behind the Scenes: A tenant fills out a Google Form (“Repair Request Form”), which automatically adds a new row to a linked Google Sheet. Steps: Trigger: Google Sheets rowAdded – runs when a new form entry appears. Extract & Format: Collects all relevant form data (address, unit, urgency, contacts). Generate Unit ID: Creates a standardized identifier (e.g., BUILDING-UNIT) for tracking. Email Notification: Sends the building manager a formatted email summarizing the repair details and including a link to a Repair Update Form (which activates Workflow 2). --- Workflow 2 – Repair Updates Behind the Scenes:\ Triggered when the building manager submits a follow-up form (“Repair Update Form”). Steps: Lookup by UUID: Uses the Unit ID from Workflow 1 to find the existing row in the Google Sheet. Conditional Logic: If photos are uploaded: Saves each image to a Google Drive folder, renames files consistently, and adds URLs to the sheet. If no photos: Skips the upload step and processes textual updates only. Merge & Update: Combines new data with existing repair info in the same spreadsheet row — enabling a full repair history in one place. --- 🧩 Requirements Google Account (for Forms, Sheets, and Drive) Gmail/email node connected for sending notifications n8n credentials configured for Google API access --- ⚡ Setup Instructions (see more detail in workflow) Import both workflows into n8n, then copy one into a second workflow. Change manual trigger in workflow 2 to a n8n Form node. Connect Google credentials to all nodes. Update spreadsheet and folder IDs in the corresponding nodes. Customize email text, sender name, and form links for your organization. Test each workflow with a sample repair request and a repair update submission. --- 🛠️ Customization Ideas Add Slack or Telegram notifications for urgent repairs. Auto-create folders per building or unit for photo uploads. Generate monthly repair summaries using Google Sheets triggers. Add an AI node to create summaries/extract relevant repair data from repair request that include long submissions.

Synchronizing WooCommerce inventory and creating products with Google Gemini AI and BrowserAct

Synchronize WooCommerce Inventory & Create Products with Gemini AI & BrowserAct This sophisticated n8n template automates WooCommerce inventory management by scraping supplier data, updating existing products, and intelligently creating new ones with AI-formatted descriptions. This workflow is essential for e-commerce operators, dropshippers, and inventory managers who need to ensure their product pricing and stock levels are synchronized with multiple third-party suppliers, minimizing overselling and maximizing profit. --- Self-Hosted Only This Workflow uses a community contribution and is designed and tested for self-hosted n8n instances only. --- How it works The workflow is typically run by a Schedule Trigger (though a Manual Trigger is also shown) to check stock automatically. It reads a list of suppliers and their inventory page URLs from a central Google Sheet. The workflow loops through each supplier: A BrowserAct node scrapes the current stock and price data from the supplier's inventory page. A Code node parses this bulk data into individual product items. It then loops through each individual product found. The workflow checks WooCommerce to see if the product already exists based on its name. If the product exists: It proceeds to update the existing product's price and stock quantity. If the product DOES NOT exist: An If node checks if the missing product's category matches a predefined type (optional filtering). If it passes the filter, a second BrowserAct workflow scrapes detailed product attributes from a dedicated product page (e.g., DigiKey). An AI Agent (Gemini) transforms these attributes into a specific, styled HTML table for the product description. Finally, the product is created in WooCommerce with all scraped details and the AI-generated description. Error Handling: Multiple Slack nodes are configured to alert your team immediately if any scraping task fails or if the product update/creation process encounters an issue. Note: This workflow does not support image uploads for new products. To enable this functionality, you must modify both the n8n and BrowserAct workflows. --- Requirements BrowserAct API account for web scraping BrowserAct n8n Community Node -> (n8n Nodes BrowserAct) BrowserAct templates named “WooCommerce Inventory & Stock Synchronization” and “WooCommerce Product Data Reconciliation” Google Sheets credentials for the supplier list WooCommerce credentials for product management Google Gemini account for the AI Agent Slack credentials for error alerts --- Need Help?
