n8n Workflow: Telegram Bot for Custom Recipes and Food Image Generation

This n8n workflow empowers users to generate custom recipes and corresponding restaurant-style food images directly through a Telegram bot. It leverages AI to understand user requests, generate creative culinary content, and visualize it.

What it does

This workflow automates the following steps:

1. Listens for Telegram Messages: The workflow is triggered by incoming messages to a configured Telegram bot.
2. Sets User Input: It captures the user's message from Telegram and prepares it for the AI agent.
3. Processes with AI Agent: An AI agent (powered by LangChain) takes the user's request, utilizing a conversational memory and an OpenRouter Chat Model. This agent is designed to:
   • Understand the user's request for a recipe.
   • Generate a detailed recipe based on the input.
   • Create a prompt for an image generation model to produce a restaurant-style image of the food.
4. Generates Food Image: It sends a request to an external API (likely an image generation service, though not explicitly named in the JSON, indicated by the "HTTP Request" node) using the prompt generated by the AI agent to create a food image.
5. Converts Image to File: The received image data is converted into a file format suitable for sending via Telegram.
6. Sends Recipe and Image to Telegram: Finally, the generated recipe text and the food image are sent back to the user via the Telegram bot.

Prerequisites/Requirements

To use this workflow, you will need:

• n8n Instance: A running instance of n8n.
• Telegram Bot Token: A Telegram bot token obtained from BotFather to set up the Telegram Trigger and Telegram nodes.
• OpenRouter API Key: An API key for OpenRouter to use their chat models.
• Image Generation API Endpoint & Key: An API endpoint and key for an image generation service (e.g., DALL-E, Midjourney, Stability AI). The "HTTP Request" node will need to be configured with this service's details.

Setup/Usage

1. Import the Workflow:
   • Download the provided JSON file.
   • In your n8n instance, go to "Workflows" and click "New".
   • Click the "Import from JSON" button and paste the workflow JSON.
2. Configure Credentials:
