Manual content repackaging and posting can be repetitive and time-consuming. This workflow automates the process from capturing article URLs (via Telegram or RSS) to scraping content, transforming it into a styled thread, and posting on Bluesky platform.
What this workflow does
- Listens on Telegram or fetches from RSS feeds (AI Trends, Machine Learning Mastery, Technology Review).
- Extracts content from URLs using JinaAI.
- Converts the article into a neat, scroll-stopping thread via LangChain + Gemini / OpenAI ChatGPT.
- Splits the thread into multiple posts. The first post is published with βCreate a Postβ, while subsequent posts are replies.
- Adds short delays between posting to avoid rate limits.
Setup
- Add credentials for Telegram Bot API, JinaAI, Google Gemini, and Bluesky App Password.
- Add or customize RSS feeds if needed
- Test with a sample URL to validate posting sequence.
How to customize
- Swap out RSS feeds or trigger sources.
- Modify prompt templates or thread formatting rules in the LangChain/Gemini node.
- Adjust wait times or content parsing logic.
- Replace Bluesky with another posting target if desired.

This n8n workflow automates the process of transforming an article from an RSS feed into a series of threaded posts suitable for Bluesky, leveraging Jina AI for content extraction and either Google Gemini or OpenAI GPT for summarization and post generation.
What it does
This workflow streamlines the creation of engaging Bluesky threads from new articles by performing the following steps:
- Monitors an RSS Feed: It continuously checks a specified RSS feed for new articles.
- Filters Articles: It checks if the article content has been successfully extracted.
- Extracts Article Content: Uses Jina AI to fetch and extract the clean, main content from the article URL.
- Generates Threaded Posts:
- Summarizes Article: Utilizes either the Google Gemini Chat Model or OpenAI Chat Model (configurable) to summarize the extracted article content.
- Breaks into Posts: Divides the summary into multiple, concise posts, formatted for a Bluesky thread.
- Adds Link: Appends the original article link to the final post of the thread.
- Prepares for Bluesky: Formats the generated posts into a structured array, ready for a Bluesky posting node (not included in this JSON, but implied as the next step).
Prerequisites/Requirements
To use this workflow, you will need:
- n8n Instance: A running n8n instance.
- RSS Feed URL: The URL of the RSS feed you wish to monitor.
- Jina AI API Key: For content extraction from URLs.
- Google Gemini API Key OR OpenAI API Key: Depending on which AI model you choose for summarization and post generation.
- Bluesky Account: To post the generated threads (a Bluesky posting node would be added after this workflow).
- Telegram Bot Token: If you intend to use the Telegram Trigger, you'll need a Telegram bot and its token.
Setup/Usage
- Import the Workflow:
- Copy the provided JSON code.
- In your n8n instance, go to "Workflows" and click "New".
- Click the "Import from JSON" button and paste the JSON code.
- Configure Credentials:
- Locate the "Jina AI" node and configure your Jina AI API Key credential.
- Locate the "Google Gemini Chat Model" node and configure your Google Gemini API Key credential, OR
- Locate the "OpenAI Chat Model" node and configure your OpenAI API Key credential.
- Configure Nodes:
- RSS Feed Trigger (ID: 1227): Update the "URL" parameter to your desired RSS feed.
- Basic LLM Chain (ID: 1123):
- Choose between "Google Gemini Chat Model" (ID: 1262) or "OpenAI Chat Model" (ID: 1153) as the Language Model for summarization. Ensure the selected model has its credentials configured.
- Review and adjust the prompt for generating Bluesky posts if needed.
- If (ID: 20): This node filters for successful content extraction. No changes should be needed here unless you modify the Jina AI output structure.
- Edit Fields (ID: 38): This node prepares the output for the Bluesky posting. Adjust the field names if your Bluesky node expects different input.
- Loop Over Items (ID: 39): This node iterates over the generated posts.
- Code (ID: 834): This node contains the logic for formatting the posts. Review and adjust if you need specific formatting rules.
- Split Out (ID: 1239): This node splits the generated posts into individual items.
- Activate the Workflow: Once configured, activate the workflow to start monitoring your RSS feed.
