Scheduled Currency Exchange Rate Updates to Telegram

This n8n workflow automates the process of fetching current currency exchange rates and posting them to a Telegram chat at scheduled intervals. It's designed to keep you or a group informed about specific currency conversions without manual checks.

What it does

  1. Triggers on a Schedule: The workflow starts at predefined times, allowing for regular updates.
  2. Fetches Exchange Rates: It makes an HTTP request to an external API (likely an exchange rate API, although the specific URL is not provided in the JSON, it's inferred from the context) to get the latest currency exchange rates.
  3. Processes Data: It uses a "Code" node to transform and format the raw exchange rate data received from the API into a human-readable message.
  4. Formats Message: A "Set" node is used to further refine the message content, preparing it for Telegram.
  5. Posts to Telegram: Finally, it sends the formatted currency exchange rate information as a message to a specified Telegram chat.

Prerequisites/Requirements

  • n8n Instance: A running instance of n8n.
  • Telegram Account: A Telegram account and a bot token for sending messages. You'll need to create a Telegram Bot via BotFather and obtain its API token.
  • Telegram Chat ID: The chat ID where the messages should be sent. This can be a private chat or a group chat.
  • Exchange Rate API: Access to an exchange rate API (e.g., ExchangeRate-API, Open Exchange Rates, etc.). You will need an API key if the service requires one. The specific API URL and any necessary authentication will need to be configured in the "HTTP Request" node.

Setup/Usage

  1. Import the Workflow: Import the provided JSON into your n8n instance.
  2. Configure Credentials:
    • Telegram: Create a new Telegram API credential in n8n using your bot token.
  3. Configure Nodes:
    • HTTP Request (ID: 19):
      • Update the "URL" field to point to your chosen exchange rate API endpoint.
      • Add any required authentication (e.g., API key in headers or query parameters) according to your API provider's documentation.
    • Code (ID: 834):
      • Review and adjust the JavaScript code within this node if the structure of the exchange rate data from your API differs significantly, or if you want to customize the parsing logic.
    • Edit Fields (Set) (ID: 38):
      • Adjust the fields being set if you want to change how the message is constructed before sending to Telegram.
    • Telegram (ID: 49):
      • Select your configured Telegram credential.
      • Enter the Chat ID where you want the exchange rate updates to be posted.
    • Schedule Trigger (ID: 839):
      • Configure the desired schedule for the workflow to run (e.g., daily, hourly, specific times).
  4. Activate the Workflow: Once all configurations are complete, activate the workflow. It will now run automatically based on your defined schedule, sending currency exchange rate updates to your Telegram chat.

Synchronizing WooCommerce inventory and creating products with Google Gemini AI and BrowserAct

Synchronize WooCommerce Inventory & Create Products with Gemini AI & BrowserAct This sophisticated n8n template automates WooCommerce inventory management by scraping supplier data, updating existing products, and intelligently creating new ones with AI-formatted descriptions. This workflow is essential for e-commerce operators, dropshippers, and inventory managers who need to ensure their product pricing and stock levels are synchronized with multiple third-party suppliers, minimizing overselling and maximizing profit. --- Self-Hosted Only This Workflow uses a community contribution and is designed and tested for self-hosted n8n instances only. --- How it works The workflow is typically run by a Schedule Trigger (though a Manual Trigger is also shown) to check stock automatically. It reads a list of suppliers and their inventory page URLs from a central Google Sheet. The workflow loops through each supplier: A BrowserAct node scrapes the current stock and price data from the supplier's inventory page. A Code node parses this bulk data into individual product items. It then loops through each individual product found. The workflow checks WooCommerce to see if the product already exists based on its name. If the product exists: It proceeds to update the existing product's price and stock quantity. If the product DOES NOT exist: An If node checks if the missing product's category matches a predefined type (optional filtering). If it passes the filter, a second BrowserAct workflow scrapes detailed product attributes from a dedicated product page (e.g., DigiKey). An AI Agent (Gemini) transforms these attributes into a specific, styled HTML table for the product description. Finally, the product is created in WooCommerce with all scraped details and the AI-generated description. Error Handling: Multiple Slack nodes are configured to alert your team immediately if any scraping task fails or if the product update/creation process encounters an issue. Note: This workflow does not support image uploads for new products. To enable this functionality, you must modify both the n8n and BrowserAct workflows. --- Requirements BrowserAct API account for web scraping BrowserAct n8n Community Node -> (n8n Nodes BrowserAct) BrowserAct templates named “WooCommerce Inventory & Stock Synchronization” and “WooCommerce Product Data Reconciliation” Google Sheets credentials for the supplier list WooCommerce credentials for product management Google Gemini account for the AI Agent Slack credentials for error alerts --- Need Help?
