How it works
Shopify webhook triggers when customer creates cart and begins checkout process. The workflow waits one hour then checks if cart was converted to completed order. If cart remains abandoned, it extracts customer email and cart details. A personalized email is generated with cart contents and direct checkout link. Customer receives gentle reminder and can complete purchase with one click.

What it does

- Triggering on Abandoned Checkouts: Automatically starts when a customer abandons their cart on your Shopify store.
- Waiting for a Defined Period: Pauses the workflow for a specified duration (e.g., 2 hours) to give the customer time to return on their own or to avoid immediate spamming.
- Checking Cart Status: After the wait, it verifies if the abandoned checkout is still open (i.e., not yet recovered or completed).
- Formatting Email Data: Prepares the necessary data for the recovery email, such as the customer's email and a link to their abandoned cart.
- Sending Recovery Email: Dispatches a personalized abandoned cart recovery email to the customer.
Prerequisites/Requirements
To use this workflow, you will need:

Setup/Usage

- Adjust the "Wait For" duration to your desired recovery email delay (e.g., 2 hours, 24 hours).
- Customize the Email Content:
- Open the "Send Email" node.
- Edit the "To", "Subject", and "Body" fields to personalize your abandoned cart recovery email. You can use expressions to dynamically insert customer and cart details from the previous Shopify nodes.
- Activate the Workflow:
- Once configured, save the workflow.
