Check Tron wallet USDT blacklist status via Telegram
Description
This n8n workflow template allows users to check if a Tron wallet address is blacklisted on the USDT contract via a Telegram bot. When a user sends the command {walletAddress} through the Telegram bot, the workflow queries the Tronscan API to determine if the provided wallet address is blacklisted. The result is then sent back to the user via the Telegram bot.
Detailed Description Workflow Overview This workflow is designed to interact with users through a Telegram bot and check if a given Tron wallet address is blacklisted on the USDT contract. The workflow consists of four main nodes:
- Telegram Trigger Node: Listens for messages from the Telegram bot.
- HTTP Request Node: Sends a GET request to the Tronscan API to check the blacklist status of the provided wallet address.
- Function Node: Processes the API response and formats the message to be sent back to the user.
- Telegram Send Message Node: Sends the formatted message back to the user via the Telegram bot.
Nodes Configuration
1.Telegram Trigger Node
- Event: Message
- Update Types: Message
- Command: /sorgu
- Description: This node listens for the {walletAddress} command followed by a wallet address from the user.
2.HTTP Request Node
- Method: GET
- URL: https://apilist.tronscanapi.com/api/stableCoin/blackList?blackAddress={{ $json.message.text }}
- Response Format: JSON
- Description: This node sends a GET request to the Tronscan API using the wallet address provided by the user.
3.Code Node Check Api Response:
let message;
if (response.total && response.total > 0) {
message = `π¨π **This Wallet is Blacklisted!** ππ¨: ${response.data[0].blackAddress}`;
} else {
message = `β
π **This Wallet is NOT Blacklisted!** πβ
.`;
}
return [
{
json: {
text: message,
},
},
];
- Description: This node processes the API response to determine if the wallet address is blacklisted and formats the message to be sent back to the user.
4.Telegram Send Message Node
- Resource: Message
- Operation: Send
- Chat ID: ={{$json["chat_id"]}}
- Text: ={{$json["text"]}}
- Description: This node sends the formatted message back to the user via the Telegram bot.
How to Use
-
Set Up Telegram Bot: Create a Telegram bot and obtain the API token. Configure the bot to listen for the {walletAddress} command.
-
Import Workflow: Import this workflow into your n8n instance.
-
Configure Credentials: Add your Telegram API credentials to the Telegram Trigger and Telegram Send Message nodes.
-

n8n Workflow: Check Tron Wallet USDT Blacklist Status via Telegram
This n8n workflow allows you to check the blacklist status of a Tron (TRC20) USDT wallet address by sending a simple command via Telegram. It leverages a third-party API to query the blacklist status and responds directly in the Telegram chat.
What it does
This workflow automates the following steps:
- Listens for Telegram Messages: It acts as a Telegram bot, waiting for incoming messages.
- Extracts Wallet Address: It processes the received message to identify a potential Tron wallet address.
- Queries Blacklist API: It makes an HTTP request to a specified API endpoint, passing the extracted wallet address to check its blacklist status.
- Parses API Response: It processes the API's JSON response to determine if the wallet is blacklisted.
- Responds via Telegram: Based on the API response, it sends a clear message back to the user in Telegram, indicating whether the wallet is blacklisted or not.
Prerequisites/Requirements
To use this workflow, you will need:
- n8n Instance: A running instance of n8n.
- Telegram Bot Token: A Telegram bot token obtained from BotFather. This will be used to configure the Telegram Trigger and Telegram nodes.
- Tron Wallet Blacklist API: Access to a Tron wallet blacklist API. The current workflow is configured to use a placeholder URL (
YOUR_TRON_WALLET_BLACKLIST_API_ENDPOINT). You will need to replace this with a valid API endpoint that returns the blacklist status.- The API is expected to return a JSON object with a
statusfield (e.g.,{"status": "blacklisted"}or{"status": "not blacklisted"}).
- The API is expected to return a JSON object with a
- Basic JavaScript Knowledge (Optional): If you need to modify the parsing logic for the wallet address or API response, some basic JavaScript knowledge will be helpful for the "Code" node.
Setup/Usage
-
Import the Workflow:
- In your n8n instance, go to "Workflows".
- Click "New" -> "Import from JSON".
- Paste the provided workflow JSON and click "Import".
-
Configure Telegram Credentials:
- Click on the "Telegram Trigger" node (ID: 50) and the "Telegram" node (ID: 49).
- In the "Credentials" section, click "Create New" or select an existing Telegram API credential.
- Enter your Telegram Bot Token.
-
Configure the Blacklist API Endpoint:
- Click on the "HTTP Request" node (ID: 19).
- In the "URL" field, replace
YOUR_TRON_WALLET_BLACKLIST_API_ENDPOINTwith the actual URL of the Tron wallet blacklist API you intend to use. - Ensure the "Method" is set correctly (e.g.,
GETorPOST) based on your API's requirements. - Adjust any "Headers" or "Query Parameters" as needed by your API. The current setup expects a query parameter for the wallet address.
-
Review and Adjust Code Node (if necessary):
- Click on the "Code" node (ID: 834).
- This node is responsible for extracting the wallet address from the Telegram message and constructing the API URL.
- The current code assumes the wallet address is present in the Telegram message. You might need to adjust the regex or parsing logic if your expected input format is different.
- It also constructs the API URL with the extracted wallet address. Ensure this matches your chosen API's requirements.
-
Review and Adjust If Node (if necessary):
- Click on the "If" node (ID: 20).
- This node checks the
statusfield from the HTTP Request's response. - The current condition checks if
statuscontains "blacklisted". Adjust this condition if your API returns a different indicator for a blacklisted wallet.
-
Activate the Workflow:
- Once configured, click the "Activate" toggle in the top right corner of the workflow editor to enable it.
To Use:
- Send a message to your Telegram bot containing the Tron wallet address you want to check.
- The bot will respond with the blacklist status of the provided wallet address.
