Check for Bargain Flights and Get Notified using Amadeus and Gmail
This n8n workflow automates the process of finding bargain flights using the Amadeus API and sending email notifications via Gmail when suitable flights are found. It's designed to help you monitor flight prices for specific routes and get alerted to good deals.
What it does
- Schedules Checks: The workflow runs on a defined schedule (e.g., daily, hourly) to check for new flight data.
- Fetches Flight Data: It makes an HTTP request to an external API (likely Amadeus, given the context) to retrieve flight information.
- Processes Flight Data: It uses a Code node to parse and process the raw flight data, extracting relevant details.
- Filters for Bargains: It filters the retrieved flights based on a predefined condition (e.g., price below a certain threshold, specific dates, etc.) to identify bargain flights.
- Loops Through Bargains: If multiple bargain flights are found, it iterates through each one.
- Prepares Email Content: For each bargain flight, it prepares a structured message containing the flight details.
- Sends Email Notifications: It sends an email via Gmail to a specified recipient with the details of the bargain flight.
- Waits (Optional): After sending an email, it includes a short wait period, possibly to avoid rate limits or space out notifications.
Prerequisites/Requirements
- n8n Instance: A running n8n instance.
- Amadeus API Account: Access to the Amadeus flight search API (or a similar flight data API). You'll need API keys or credentials for the HTTP Request node.
- Gmail Account: A Gmail account configured as a credential in n8n for sending emails.
Setup/Usage
- Import the Workflow:
- Copy the provided JSON code.
- In your n8n instance, go to "Workflows" and click "New".
- Click the "Import from JSON" button and paste the copied JSON.
- Configure Credentials:
- HTTP Request Node (ID: 19): Update this node with your Amadeus API (or equivalent) endpoint, headers, and any necessary authentication (e.g., API key in headers or query parameters).
- Gmail Node (ID: 356): Configure your Gmail credentials. If you haven't already, you'll need to create a new OAuth2 credential for Gmail in n8n.
- Customize Workflow Nodes:
- Schedule Trigger Node (ID: 839): Adjust the schedule to your preference (e.g., daily, every few hours).
- Code Node (ID: 834): Modify the JavaScript code to parse the specific response structure of your chosen flight API and extract the data points you need (e.g.,
price, departureDate, arrivalDate, origin, destination, airline). - Filter Node (ID: 844): Define your bargain flight criteria. For example, you might set a condition like
{{ $json.price < 200 }}or{{ $json.destination === 'London' }}. - Edit Fields (Set) Node (ID: 38): Customize the fields you want to include in your email notification. Ensure the data extracted by the Code node is mapped correctly here.
- Gmail Node (ID: 356):
- Set the
Toemail address where you want to receive notifications. - Customize the
SubjectandBodyof the email using expressions to include the flight details (e.g.,Bargain Flight Alert: {{ $json.origin }} to {{ $json.destination }} for {{ $json.price }}!).
- Set the
- Wait Node (ID: 514): Adjust the wait time if necessary.
- Activate the Workflow: Once configured, activate the workflow to start monitoring for bargain flights.

Auto-reply & create Linear tickets from Gmail with GPT-5, gotoHuman & human review
This workflow automatically classifies every new email from your linked mailbox, drafts a personalized reply, and creates Linear tickets for bugs or feature requests. It uses a human-in-the-loop with gotoHuman and continuously improves itself by learning from approved examples. How it works The workflow triggers on every new email from your linked mailbox. Self-learning Email Classifier: an AI model categorizes the email into defined categories (e.g., Bug Report, Feature Request, Sales Opportunity, etc.). It fetches previously approved classification examples from gotoHuman to refine decisions. Self-learning Email Writer: the AI drafts a reply to the email. It learns over time by using previously approved replies from gotoHuman, with per-classification context to tailor tone and style (e.g., different style for sales vs. bug reports). Human Review in gotoHuman: review the classification and the drafted reply. Drafts can be edited or retried. Approved values are used to train the self-learning agents. Send approved Reply: the approved response is sent as a reply to the email thread. Create ticket: if the classification is Bug or Feature Request, a ticket is created by another AI agent in Linear. Human Review in gotoHuman: How to set up Most importantly, install the gotoHuman node before importing this template! (Just add the node to a blank canvas before importing) Set up credentials for gotoHuman, OpenAI, your email provider (e.g. Gmail), and Linear. In gotoHuman, select and create the pre-built review template "Support email agent" or import the ID: 6fzuCJlFYJtlu9mGYcVT. Select this template in the gotoHuman node. In the "gotoHuman: Fetch approved examples" http nodes you need to add your formId. It is the ID of the review template that you just created/imported in gotoHuman. Requirements gotoHuman (human supervision, memory for self-learning) OpenAI (classification, drafting) Gmail or your preferred email provider (for email trigger+replies) Linear (ticketing) How to customize Expand or refine the categories used by the classifier. Update the prompt to reflect your own taxonomy. Filter fetched training data from gotoHuman by reviewer so the writer adapts to their personalized tone and preferences. Add more context to the AI email writer (calendar events, FAQs, product docs) to improve reply quality.
