What This Workflow Does

  1. Fetches videos from a Google Drive folder
You provide a folder ID and the workflow lists all files, filtering to keep only .mp4.

  2. Builds a simple publishing calendar
    You configure:

    • Start date
    • Cadence (daily, 5/week, 3/week)
    • Timezone
    • One Publish Hour shared across all selected platforms

    The workflow creates:

    • Schedule Date
    • Schedule DateTime for each video
  3. Analyzes each video with AI
Gemini performs a structured analysis of the video to understand:

    • What happens in the content
    • Key topics
    • Tone
    • Audience intent
  4. Generates platform-specific social copy
For each video, the AI creates unique text for:

    • TikTok

    • YouTube Shorts

    The prompts are language-aware:

    • If the video is in English, the titles/descriptions are generated in English.
    • If the video is in Spanish, they are generated in Spanish.
  5. Saves everything to Google Sheets as drafts
Each video becomes one row with:

    • Titles, descriptions, hashtags/tags
    • A single shared Schedule DateTime
    • Status = draft
  6. Auto-publishes approved rows (Flow 2)
    Every hour:

    • Loads the sheet
    • Filters rows where Status = approved
    • Downloads the Drive file
    • Schedules the video to the selected platforms
    • Updates Status = scheduled

Sheet Structure

The tracking sheet is designed to be a clean approval queue.
Recommended columns:

  • Video ID

n8n Workflow: AI-Powered Video Social Media Content Generation and Client Approval

This n8n workflow automates the process of generating social media copy for videos using AI, obtaining client approval, and preparing the content for publishing. It streamlines content creation, ensuring brand consistency and efficient review cycles.

What it does

This workflow performs the following key steps:

  1. Triggers Manually (or via Schedule/Form): The workflow can be initiated manually, on a schedule (e.g., daily, weekly), or upon a form submission.
  2. Reads Video Data from Google Sheets: It fetches video details (likely including video URLs, topics, or other relevant information) from a specified Google Sheet.
  3. Filters for Approved/Pending Videos: It checks a condition (presumably a status field like "Approved" or "Pending" in the Google Sheet) to determine which videos need processing.
  4. Loops Through Videos: For each video item, it processes them in batches.
  5. Generates Social Media Copy with AI: It uses an AI Agent (likely powered by Google Gemini) to generate social media copy based on the video data. This involves:
    • AI Agent: Orchestrates the AI content generation process.
    • Google Gemini Chat Model: The core AI model used for generating conversational and creative copy.
    • Structured Output Parser: Ensures the AI output is formatted correctly (e.g., JSON) for easy parsing and use in subsequent steps.
  6. Prepares Data for Approval: It likely formats the generated AI copy and video details into a structured format suitable for client review.
  7. Saves Generated Content to Google Drive: Stores the generated social media copy or related assets in Google Drive.
  8. Updates Google Sheet: Updates the Google Sheet with the generated copy, status, or other relevant information.

Prerequisites/Requirements

To use this workflow, you will need:

  • n8n Instance: A running n8n instance (cloud or self-hosted).
  • Google Sheets Account: Configured credentials for Google Sheets to read and write video data.
  • Google Drive Account: Configured credentials for Google Drive to store generated content.
  • Google Gemini API Key/Access: Credentials or access to the Google Gemini AI model for content generation.
  • Basic understanding of n8n: Familiarity with connecting nodes and configuring credentials.

Setup/Usage

  1. Import the Workflow: Download the provided JSON and import it into your n8n instance.
  2. Configure Credentials:
    • Set up your Google Sheets credentials.
    • Set up your Google Drive credentials.
    • Configure your Google Gemini credentials.
  3. Configure Nodes:
    • Google Sheets (Read): Specify the spreadsheet ID and sheet name where your video data is located. Ensure your sheet has columns for video URLs, topics, and a status field (e.g., "Status").
    • If: Adjust the condition to match your status field (e.g., {{ $json.status === 'Pending' }}).
    • AI Agent & Google Gemini Chat Model: Review the prompts and configurations to ensure the AI generates the desired social media copy. The "Structured Output Parser" should be configured to parse the AI's output into a usable format.
    • Edit Fields (Set): Adjust this node to format the data as needed before saving or updating.
    • Google Drive: Configure the folder where you want to save the generated content.
    • Google Sheets (Write): Update this node to write the generated social media copy and potentially update the video's status (e.g., to "Ready for Review") back to your Google Sheet.
  4. Activate the Workflow: Once configured, activate the workflow. You can run it manually, set up a schedule using the "Schedule Trigger" node, or integrate it with a form using the "n8n Form Trigger" node.

This workflow provides a robust foundation for automating your video social media content pipeline, leveraging AI for efficient copy generation and integrating client approval steps.

πŸŽ“ How to transform unstructured email data into structured format with AI agent

This workflow automates the process of extracting structured, usable information from unstructured email messages across multiple platforms. It connects directly to Gmail, Outlook, and IMAP accounts, retrieves incoming emails, and sends their content to an AI-powered parsing agent built on OpenAI GPT models. The AI agent analyzes each email, identifies relevant details, and returns a clean JSON structure containing key fields: From – sender’s email address To – recipient’s email address Subject – email subject line Summary – short AI-generated summary of the email body The extracted information is then automatically inserted into an n8n Data Table, creating a structured database of email metadata and summaries ready for indexing, reporting, or integration with other tools. --- Key Benefits βœ… Full Automation: Eliminates manual reading and data entry from incoming emails. βœ… Multi-Source Integration: Handles data from different email providers seamlessly. βœ… AI-Driven Accuracy: Uses advanced language models to interpret complex or unformatted content. βœ… Structured Storage: Creates a standardized, query-ready dataset from previously unstructured text. βœ… Time Efficiency: Processes emails in real time, improving productivity and response speed. *βœ… Scalability: Easily extendable to handle additional sources or extract more data fields. --- How it works This workflow automates the transformation of unstructured email data into a structured, queryable format. It operates through a series of connected steps: Email Triggering: The workflow is initiated by one of three different email triggers (Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, or a generic IMAP account), which constantly monitor for new incoming emails. AI-Powered Parsing & Structuring: When a new email is detected, its raw, unstructured content is passed to a central "Parsing Agent." This agent uses a specified OpenAI language model to intelligently analyze the email text. Data Extraction & Standardization: Following a predefined system prompt, the AI agent extracts key information from the email, such as the sender, recipient, subject, and a generated summary. It then forces the output into a strict JSON structure using a "Structured Output Parser" node, ensuring data consistency. Data Storage: Finally, the clean, structured data (the from, to, subject, and summarize fields) is inserted as a new row into a specified n8n Data Table, creating a searchable and reportable database of email information. --- Set up steps To implement this workflow, follow these configuration steps: Prepare the Data Table: Create a new Data Table within n8n. Define the columns with the following names and string type: From, To, Subject, and Summary. Configure Email Credentials: Set up the credential connections for the email services you wish to use (Gmail OAuth2, Microsoft Outlook OAuth2, and/or IMAP). Ensure the accounts have the necessary permissions to read emails. Configure AI Model Credentials: Set up the OpenAI API credential with a valid API key. The workflow is configured to use the model, but this can be changed in the respective nodes if needed. Connect the Nodes: The workflow canvas is already correctly wired. Visually confirm that the email triggers are connected to the "Parsing Agent," which is connected to the "Insert row" (Data Table) node. Also, ensure the "OpenAI Chat Model" and "Structured Output Parser" are connected to the "Parsing Agent" as its AI model and output parser, respectively. Activate the Workflow: Save the workflow and toggle the "Active" switch to ON. The triggers will begin polling for new emails according to their schedule (e.g., every minute), and the automation will start processing incoming messages. --- Need help customizing?
