Extract & process Q&A from URLs with Airtop, OpenRouter AI & Safety Guardrails
Transform your Telegram bot into a secure content analyzer: send any URL, and get safe, structured Q&A extractions with AI-powered safety checks and web search capabilities.
📋 What This Template Does
This workflow activates when a user sends a valid URL to your Telegram bot. It extracts questions and answers from the webpage using Airtop, applies NSFW and PII guardrails to ensure safe content, then uses an OpenRouter AI agent (with optional Tavily search) to generate and send a concise response. If guardrails fail, it alerts the user instead.
- Filters for valid URLs only to prevent unnecessary processing
- Extracts structured Q&A from documents or forms
- Enforces safety checks for harmful or private content
- Supports web searches for enhanced responses when needed

- Test by sending a plain URL (no extra text) to your bot in Telegram
- Monitor the first execution and adjust guardrail thresholds if needed
🎯 Use Cases
- Researchers summarizing academic papers or reports while ensuring no sensitive data leaks
- Support teams extracting info from customer-submitted docs/forms with automatic safety filtering
- Content creators pulling Q&A from articles for bots, blocking inappropriate responses
- Educators analyzing educational resources safely for student-facing chat tools
⚠️ Troubleshooting
- No response from bot: Verify the message contains only a valid URL; adjust regex in Filter Only URLs node if needed
- Guardrail failures: Lower NSFW threshold (e.g., from 0.7 to 0.5) or disable PII checks in Apply Safety Guardrails node
- Extraction errors: Test with public, text-heavy URLs; some JS-heavy sites may require alternative extractors
- Rate limits hit: Check OpenRouter/Tavily dashboards for usage; upgrade to paid tiers for heavy traffic
Extract and Process QA from URLs with Airtop, OpenRouter AI, and Safety Guardrails
This n8n workflow automates the process of extracting information from URLs, generating AI-powered Q&A, and applying safety guardrails, all triggered by a Telegram message. It integrates Airtop for structured data handling, OpenRouter for flexible AI model access, and Langchain Guardrails for content safety.
What it does
- Listens for Telegram Messages: The workflow starts when it receives a message in a configured Telegram chat.
- Filters Messages: It then applies a filter to process only relevant messages (e.g., those containing URLs or specific commands).
- Applies Safety Guardrails: Before processing the content, the workflow uses Langchain Guardrails to check for and prevent the processing of unsafe or sensitive information.
- Generates AI-Powered Q&A: It leverages an AI Agent, powered by an OpenRouter Chat Model, to process the content from the URLs and generate questions and answers.
- Stores Data in Airtop: The extracted and processed Q&A data is then structured and stored in Airtop, a flexible database platform.
- Sends Confirmation to Telegram: Finally, it sends a confirmation or the generated Q&A back to the Telegram chat.
Prerequisites/Requirements
- n8n Instance: A running n8n instance.
- Telegram Bot Token: A Telegram bot token and chat ID for the Telegram Trigger and Telegram nodes.
- Airtop API Key: An Airtop API key for storing data.
- OpenRouter API Key: An OpenRouter API key for accessing various AI chat models.
- Langchain Guardrails Configuration: Proper configuration for the Guardrails node to define safety policies (e.g., PII detection, content moderation).
Setup/Usage
- Import the workflow: Download the provided JSON and import it into your n8n instance.
- Configure Credentials:
- Telegram Trigger & Telegram Node: Set up your Telegram Bot credential with your bot token.
- Airtop Node: Configure your Airtop credential with your API key.
- OpenRouter Chat Model Node: Set up your OpenRouter credential with your API key.
- Configure Nodes:
- Telegram Trigger: Ensure the "Updates" are set to listen for messages in your desired chat.
- Filter: Adjust the conditions in the "Filter" node to match your specific criteria for triggering the AI processing (e.g.,
{{ $json.message.text.includes('http') }}to check for URLs). - Guardrails: Customize the "Guardrails" node settings to define your safety policies and what actions to take if violations are detected.
- AI Agent: Configure the "AI Agent" with the desired prompt for Q&A generation and ensure it's connected to the "OpenRouter Chat Model".
- OpenRouter Chat Model: Select your preferred AI model from the OpenRouter options.
- Airtop: Configure the "Airtop" node to specify the Airtop base and table where you want to store the extracted Q&A. Map the output from the AI Agent to the correct fields in Airtop.
- Telegram: Customize the message sent back to Telegram, potentially including the generated Q&A or a confirmation.
- Activate the workflow: Once configured, activate the workflow to start listening for Telegram messages.

Synchronizing WooCommerce inventory and creating products with Google Gemini AI and BrowserAct
Synchronize WooCommerce Inventory & Create Products with Gemini AI & BrowserAct This sophisticated n8n template automates WooCommerce inventory management by scraping supplier data, updating existing products, and intelligently creating new ones with AI-formatted descriptions. This workflow is essential for e-commerce operators, dropshippers, and inventory managers who need to ensure their product pricing and stock levels are synchronized with multiple third-party suppliers, minimizing overselling and maximizing profit. --- Self-Hosted Only This Workflow uses a community contribution and is designed and tested for self-hosted n8n instances only. --- How it works The workflow is typically run by a Schedule Trigger (though a Manual Trigger is also shown) to check stock automatically. It reads a list of suppliers and their inventory page URLs from a central Google Sheet. The workflow loops through each supplier: A BrowserAct node scrapes the current stock and price data from the supplier's inventory page. A Code node parses this bulk data into individual product items. It then loops through each individual product found. The workflow checks WooCommerce to see if the product already exists based on its name. If the product exists: It proceeds to update the existing product's price and stock quantity. If the product DOES NOT exist: An If node checks if the missing product's category matches a predefined type (optional filtering). If it passes the filter, a second BrowserAct workflow scrapes detailed product attributes from a dedicated product page (e.g., DigiKey). An AI Agent (Gemini) transforms these attributes into a specific, styled HTML table for the product description. Finally, the product is created in WooCommerce with all scraped details and the AI-generated description. Error Handling: Multiple Slack nodes are configured to alert your team immediately if any scraping task fails or if the product update/creation process encounters an issue. Note: This workflow does not support image uploads for new products. To enable this functionality, you must modify both the n8n and BrowserAct workflows. --- Requirements BrowserAct API account for web scraping BrowserAct n8n Community Node -> (n8n Nodes BrowserAct) BrowserAct templates named “WooCommerce Inventory & Stock Synchronization” and “WooCommerce Product Data Reconciliation” Google Sheets credentials for the supplier list WooCommerce credentials for product management Google Gemini account for the AI Agent Slack credentials for error alerts --- Need Help?
